Ajay Devgn, born as Vishal Veeru Devgan, is a renowned Indian actor, director, and film producer mainly active in Bollywood. Widely recognized as a top-tier actors, he has appeared in over 100 films and received several honors, including four National Film Awards and 4 Filmfare Awards. In 2016, he was honored with the Padma Shri, India's fourth-highest civilian award. Devgn stepped into Bollywood with the romantic-action film *Phool Aur Kaante* (1991), a commercial success that made him an overnight star. He later acted in hit action movies such as *Jigar* (1992), *Suhaag* (1994), *Vijaypath* (1994), and romantic blockbusters like *Ishq* (1997) and *Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam* (1999). His highly praised performance in *Zakhm* (1998) secured him a prestigious National Award. Throughout the 2000s, Devgn offered critically praised performances in movies like *Company* (2002), *The Legend of Bhagat Singh* (2002), and *Omkara* (2006). His portrayal Bhagat Singh won him his another National Film Award for Best Actor.
